About Us

Lorraine Stewart
Daytime Postpartum Doula
I am a self proclaimed “Baby Lover” and very much look forward to
becoming a grandparent someday! I became a DONA - Postpartum Doula
in 2003 and trained to be a DONA - Breastfeeding Counsellor in 2004.
From 2008 to 2011 I was a Certified CAPPA Canada - Postpartum Doula
Trainer. I constantly upgrade my skills and became a Doula Canada -
Certified Postpartum Doula in October 2024.
Assisting new parents with learning how to breastfeed/chestfeed is my
passion. I (personally) know how much of a struggle it can be, and I want
to help others to avoid that struggle. I’m a gentle, nurturing, knowledgeable
Lactation Educator. No judgement; only positive, practical instruction and
current information. I upgraded my Lactation education in January 2022.
I provide emotional and physical support for new parents with the birth
parent being the primary focus. A well cared for birth parent is critically
important to the well-being of the new baby and the family as a unit.
Offering hands-on parenting skills with newborn care, lactation support,
care for other children in the home, meal preparation, laundry, and light
housekeeping.
I have a grown son and daughter and have lived in Langley for 28 years.
