Full Spectrum Support

Here For You

What does it mean to be a full spectrum doula? What kind of support is available?

Full spectrum doulas believe that their work is not just in childbirth, but that it covers the entire spectrum of perinatal experience and outcomes. This can include infertility, miscarriage, planned abortion or medical termination, stillbirth, surrogacy or adoption. As full spectrum doulas we acknowledge that those who have had past traumatic experiences in pregnancy and childbirth, or in life in general, might have a different experience of pregnancy than many might expect. We provide support for any situation, unexpected or otherwise. Every person deserves support, dignity, and respect - and for their experience to be witnessed and honored. As such, we do our best to provide these services by donation or free of charge, depending on the situation and level of involvement. Frequently, families will chose to pay-it-forward for another family, but this isn't a requirement to access support.

Depending on the circumstance and your location we are able to help with your miscarriage or loss at home or in the hospital. Other times, we might book virtual sessions or phone calls to discuss and support you in processing a previous loss experience. We love this work and supporting families in these experiences. We would love to be your companions in grief and loss and love.

Please reach out if you are looking for support - we are always happy to help.
