Birth Photography (Birth Story)

Vancouver Birth Photography

  • Complimentary consultation on the phone and in person

  • On call 24/7 starting three weeks prior to estimated due date (approx. 37 weeks of pregnancy) until birth

  • A full photo- or video- documentation of your child’s birth, including the immediate postpartum and bonding time

  • By your side 1-3 hours after the birth

  • 100+ high resolution digital images with a print release. Web images to share with friends and family.

  • Announcement photos of your baby within 48 hours of their birth, to share with friends and family.

  • The remainder of your images will be available 4-6 weeks after the birth of your baby. This gives you a bit of time to process the birth from your perspective before you see it from mine.

*This package is discounted to $750 including GST to families who book me as their doula as well.

Maternity

  • Capturing this most fleeting and beautiful time for your new family!

  • Indoor or outdoor/natural light photographs typically closer to the end of your pregnancy

  • No limits on the number of people in your photographs, though usually these are intimate sessions with your closest family (just yourself or with partner and/or older children)

  • 1 hour shoot

  • 30-50 high resolution digital images with a print release. Web images to share with friends and family.

Fresh 48

  • The very first 48 hours after the birth of your baby - they will truly never be this small again!

  • Lifestyle/documentary style photography capturing your life as a new or a bigger family.

  • 1-2 hour shoot, depending on your needs. This time is flexible and I work in a non-intrusive way as I know how widely experiences vary for families with newborns. As a doula, I am always happy to help out and offer a bit of additional support.

  • 30-50 high resolution digital images with a print release. Web images to share with friends and family.

Newborn

  • Very similar to a Fresh 48 session, except booked within the first two weeks of your baby's life (a little later on).

  • Lifestyle/documentary style photography capturing your life as a new or a bigger family.

  • More focus on your baby - while I do not do staged photography, we will likely be able to capture your baby close up in all their sleepy, cheeky, cuddly goodness!

  • 1-2 hour shoot, depending on your needs. This time is flexible and I work in a non-intrusive way as I know how widely experiences vary for families with newborns. As a doula, I am always happy to help out and offer a bit of additional support.

  • 30-50 high resolution digital images with a print release. Web images to share with friends and family.

  • A session to document your family in its current version - from smallest to biggest families, from littlest to wisest members!

  • These sessions are great for documenting a special season in the life of your family, during holidays, as a gift to a loved one, or just any time you would like to have some new professional photographs done.

  • No limits on the number of people

  • 1-2 hour shoot, depending on your needs and location

  • 30-50 high resolution digital images with a print release. Web images to share with friends and family.

  • Larger quantity of photographs and extra options available - let's chat!
